Obituary of Mary Hallock

Hallock, Mary Katherine "Kay", 82, died on Monday, June 23, 2008 in Tulsa OK. Born December 14, 1925 in San Antonio, TX the daughter of Otto and Elsie (Tejas) Opperman. She married Donald Nicholson Hallock who preceded her in death in 2001.
Kay and Don met and married in Venezuela in January 1949 and lived for many years in Venezuela and Libya, always enjoying the adventure and acquaintances made during their travels. Upon Don's retirement from Esso in 1972, the family returned to Tulsa, where Kay made and enjoyed many special friendships.
She is survived by her daughters: Judy Charlton and her husband Gary and Hope Holick and her husband Jon all of San Antonio, TX; her son: Lee Hallock and his wife Anne of Denver, CO; her grandchildren: Suzanne Loveless, Sarah Holick, Mary Katherine Holick, Katie Hallock and Jenna Hallock; her brothers: Richard Opperman of Texas and Donald "Bud" Opperman of Branson, MO. The memorial service will be 1:00 pm Friday, June 27th at Southminster Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the LIFE Senior Center at Southminster Presbyterian Church or to a charitable organization of your choice.
