Durkee, James Walter, 87, of Tulsa, passed from this life on Friday, July 4, 2008. Jim was born on May 8, 1921 in Tulsa, OK to Frank and Elizabeth (Bankhead) Durkee. He served in the Army during WWII and was part of the division that liberated some of the concentration camps in Germany. Jim was a sheet metal manufacturer and owned the Durkee Heating & Air. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennievea in 1999. He is survived by his niece, Rada Fabela, of Terlton, OK and nephews, John Durkee, of Bixby, OK and Max Durkee, of Rockville, TX. Service 10:00 A.M. Wednesday Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Ninde Woodland Chapel 728-8500.
