Burris, Clarence Albert "Al", 82, died on Sunday, December 4, 2005. Born September 11, 1923 in Grant, OK the son of Lloyd D. and Dona (Thompson) Burris. He married Dorothy Wyble June 19, 1947 in Tulsa. He served in World War II in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Mississippi BB-41. His work included: 17 years at the Goodwill Industries in Tulsa working up to the position of Executive Director for 6 years; general contracting work; and his most favorite position as a super salesmen. His non-work activities included: enjoying time with his wife and family; his Grand Lake home; and providing positive encouragement to both his family and friends. Survivors: Wife of 58 years, Dorothy; Daughters: Donna Harrell and her husband Steve, Barbara Crosby and her husband Eddie all of Tulsa; Sons: David Burris and his wife Ann of Oklahoma City, Dale Burris of Tulsa; Sister: Ethel Mae Mackay of Long Beach, CA; Grandchildren: Steve Harrell, Jr., Doug Harrell, Rebekah Harrell, Amanda DePalmo, Christa Hoch, DeAnna Crosby, Matthew Burris, Tiffany Burris and Victoria Burris; Great Grandchildren: Elijah Harrell and Ethan Hoch. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home. Services 2:00 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
