Henry, Harold "Red" "Dick", 80, of Bixby, passed from this life on Sunday, July 27, 2008. He was born on November 7, 1927 in Chicago, IL to Gabriel and Margaret (McLean) Henry. After his mother's death, he moved to Oklahoma at the age of 5 along with his three youngest siblings to live on his aunt and uncle's farm. He enlisted in the Navy at a young age and served during WWII in the Pacific Theater. After the war he attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science where he graduated in December 1948. He worked for Ninde Funeral Directors for many years until he ventured into the car sales industry and worked as a car dealer until his retirement. Harold married Betty Jane Kivett on December 14, 1954. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; a daughter, Sandy Henry; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Diane Henry, all of Bixby; a granddaughter, Katie Henry and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Memorial service 2:00 P.M. Wednesday Faith United Methodist Church, 7431 E. 91st St., Tulsa, OK. Graveside service 1:00 P.M. Thursday Highland Cemetery in Iola, KS. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Faith United Methodist Church, 7431 E. 91st St., Tulsa, OK 74133. Ninde Brookside Chapel 918-742-5556.
