Obituary of Alta Hoffman

Hoffman, Alta J., 52, a Registered Nurse for Cancer Treatment Centers of America, was born July 4, 1953 to her parents John & Carol (Olson) Ritter in Muncy, Pennsylvania. Alta served the United States Army for five years leaving with the rank of Captain. She received a Bachelors Degree and pursued the medical profession for over 30 years. She married Harry J. Hoffman on July 5, 1975. She and J. celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this past July. Alta is survived by her husband, J. Hoffman of the home; by her son, Josh and his wife Kristy, of Tulsa; her son Daniel Hoffman and her daughter Elizabeth Hoffman, both of the home. In addition she is survived by her sisters, Sandra Mejia of California and Linda Ritter of Florida; her brother Dr. Larry Ritter, of Maine; and 3 granddaughters. In addition to her beautiful family she leaves behind many friends and acquaintances. She will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held celebrating her life at Evangelistic Temple this Thursday at 10:00 a.m. In leiu of flowers contributions made be made to either Bright Tomorrows at 5630 S.
