Cecil Gerald "C.G." Martin Martin, Cecil Gerald "C.G.," age 78, Died December 29, 2005. He was born July 10, 1927 in Stamps, AR to Richard R. and Myrtle J. (Holtzclaw) Martin. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maxine; his children Connie J. Martin, Joe A. Martin (wife, Donna), Toni L. Glisson (husband, Richard) all of Tulsa, OK; Nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his sister, Shirley J. Sierakowski, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. C.G. was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Benson. C.G. was known for his devotion to his faith in God, family, friends, and business. After many years of driving a truck, he started his own business, C. G. Martin Co., Inc., a plate steel warehouse and processing center in southwest Tulsa. He was well respected and admired by all who knew him. He served his country in the U S Navy until 1946 with honor. He was a long time member of Winnetka Heights Baptist Church and a member of The Gideons International. C.G. will be deeply missed by all and he will continue to live in our hearts always. Visitation will be 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Sunday and Monday. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at Ninde Garden Funeral Home, 3841 S. Peoria Ave. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Winnetka Heights Baptist Church, 1003 West 49th Street. Interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
