Obituary of Hazel Wise

Hazel Addy Wise, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, January 20, 2006. She was born February 2, 1919 in Preston, GA., 5th of 7 children. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Roscoe: children, Janis, Gayle, Michael and Hootie; grandchildren, Leah and Korie; her sister, Elsie Addy Thornburgh and 16 nieces and nephews. Hazel worked for several years for Sun Oil Company in Evansville, IN, where she met Roscoe. Hazel also worked for the USO during W.W.II and was a member of local business sorority. She and her husband were residents of Hound Ears Club near Boone, NC, for more than 20 years, before moving to Tulsa in 2003. A Memorial service will be held at Dresser Mansion 1748 S. Carson on Thursday, January 26, 2006, beginning at 5 p.m. Black dress is optional, but hazel loved color. Heaven is enriched and humanity is poorer for her passing.
