Doris Westhead Emery, 92, died on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Ambassador Manor Nursing Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born August 6, 1916 in Coppull, Lancashire, England. She immigrated to America in 1946. She married Russell S. Emery who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons: Dennis Emery and Brian Emery both of Tulsa,OK; her daughter: Myra Hodgson of Chorley, Lancashire, England; her sisters: Margaret "Maggie" Lea of Chorley, Lancashire, England and Evelyn Fairhurst of Coppull, Lancashire, England; her brother Ben Wessthead of Charnock Richards, Lancashire, England; five Grandchildren and seven great Grandchildren. There will be no services in Tulsa. Graveside service will be Wednesday in Salem, Arkansas.
