Obituary of Patsy Millburn

Patsy Ilene Millburn was born December 6, 1933 in Hominy, OK to the late Ernest H. and Shelda (Holloway) McGee. She went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 8, 2008 at the age of 75. She was a graduate of Hominy High School. Patsy was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and enjoyed the Disciples Sunday School class. She was a servant of the Body of Christ through her volunteerism at the Ronald McDonald House and other places. For twenty years she faithfully worked at St. John Medical center and most recently in the Bernsen Rehabilitation Center. Many of her co-workers will fondly remember her as a wonderful role model who always had a smile. Her family will always remember her as a loving mother and compassionate and fun grandmother. She was an enthusiastic OU Sooner fan who enjoyed watching games with family and friends. Patsy was preceded in death by her sister, Gigi Wimbish. She is survived by her children, Terry Millburn and Jay Millburn and his wife, MarkAnne all of Denver, CO, Dede Soule' and her husband , Steve of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Joan Core and her husband, Melvin, Betty Reber and her husband John of Pawhuska, OK; her grandchildren, Drew Millburn and his wife Melody, Brandon Millburn and Mitch Millburn all of Denver, CO, William and Katherine Soule' of Tulsa and grandchildren Ruston, Bennett and Sara Polley, all of Denver, CO; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she also adored. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday December 11, 2008, Asbury Methodist Church, Mason Chapel. A reception will follow in the church lobby. A private family interment will be held in Pawhuska, OK. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute in Patsy's memory to Asbury United Methodist Church, Youth Department, 6767 S.
