Pierce, Ella Ernestine, 86, died on Monday, December 29, 2008. born September 15, 1922 in Checotah, OK the daughter of Seborn and Sarah (Wright) Cathey. She moved to Tulsa in 1958 where she taught at East Central High School for 22 years and was a member of Brookside Baptist Church. Survivors: husband, John Louis Pierce; her son, David J. Pierce of Kentucky. Service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Ninde Brookside Chapel with interment at 3:30 pm at Greenlawn cemetery in Checotah, OK.
