Obituary of Kenneth Gandall

Kenneth Gene Gandall was born on January 18, 1928 in Tulsa, OK to Ollie and Bertha (Ausburn) Snyder. He was adopted on January 10, 1929 by Charles J. and Lottie (Snyder) Gandall. Kenneth passed from this life on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 84. He attended Longfellow Elementary School and Lowell Elementary School and later Lowell Junior High School. He graduated from Tulsa Central High class of 1947. Kenneth entered the Air Force in 1949 and retired in 1978 after twenty-two years of service in the Air Force. After retirement he later joined the Civil Air Patrol in 1984 and retired in 1997 at the rank of Lt. Colonel. During his Air Force service he was in the Air Force Band and traveled extensively throughout his tenure. Kenneth even played with the Tulsa Symphony, the Springfield, Massachusetts Symphony, the University of Hawaii Orchestra and the Trinity University Band. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rosalyn "Rose", of the home; a daughter, Marian Roberts, of Winston-Salem, NC; 2 sons, Terry Gandall, of Peggs, OK and Bryan Gandall, of Atlanta, GA; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and host of family on his Snyder and Ausburn side of the family.
