Rhodes, Walter Marland, 71, died on Monday, February 20, 2006. Born on July 18, 1934 in Drumright, Oklahoma the youngest child of Andy and Mabel Rhodes. He graduated from Drumright High School in 1952 where he was awarded the outstanding male Thespian award. He retired from T.D. Williamson's, Inc. after 37 years. He married Katherine Atkins on July 22, 1955. Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Kathy; Daughters: Becky Stoabs and her husband Bill of Anchorage, AK and Beth Hardie and her husband Arthur of Sand Springs; Granddaughters: Angela Miller and her husband Paul of Crowley, TX and Becca Hardie of Norman, OK; two Great Granddaughters: Brooklyn and Natalya Miller; brother: Paul Rhodes and his wife Virginia of Tulsa. Preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 8 brothers. His wife, 2 daughters, 2 granddaughters, 2 great granddaughters and even the dog is a girl. The King of his castle will be missed. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Ninde Woodland Chapel with interment in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Drumright, Oklahoma.
