Wanda Jean West was born May 29, 1927 in Earlsborough, OK to Joe H. and Betty Lou (Matthews) Tripp. She passed from this life Thursday, February 23, 2006 at the age of 78.

She was a 1945 graduate of Owasso, OK High School. She married Don A.West November 8, 1945 and they both retired from Otasco Stores. She was a member of Sheridan Avenue Christian Church.

Mrs. West was preceded in death on February 2, 2006 by her husband of 60 years, Don A. West. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Judith West of Littleton, CO; sister, Jonie Firestone of Tulsa; sister-in-law, Joyce Yaunt of Tulsa; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer Ardizzone-West and Julie Butler; 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 - 6:00 PM Sunday at Ninde Whisenhunt Chapel. A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Monday, February 27, 2006 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
