George Mason Obituary

Mason, George W., 86, of Tulsa, passed away Monday, February 27, 2006. He was born on May 20, 1919 in Avant, OK to Albert and Alice (Morris) Mason. He served in the Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He retired from American Airlines as a mechanic and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Deloris, of the home; daughters, Sandra Cotner, of Broken Arrow and Jean Watkins, of Tulsa; sister, Myrtie Goins; brothers, James, Wilbur, J.B. and Kenneth Mason; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Service 2:00 P.M. Friday Ninde Woodland Chapel interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Due to allergy sensitivities, if attending the funeral please do not wear cologne or perfume, also, do not send any flowers or flowering plants. Green plants will be acceptable. Donations may be made to the V.F.W. Honor Guard Post 7441, 2220 S. Hwy. 48, Mannford, OK 74044. Ninde Woodland Chapel 728-8500.
