Allen was a very special lady ,I have always loved her she played a very special part in my life I will always remember her. I thank God for all she did for me when I was growing up. Alleen Carter was one of the most gentlest, loving, caring, Christian Woman that I have had the privilege to know. She was always waiting with a smile on her face to greet me at the daycare (and at her house) when I was a little girl. She always had a kind word for me, a hug and I could always made me to feel like a part of the family. I will miss her and will always love her and her family very much. I will always treasure the memories that I had of her growing up. She was a very big influence in my life. She will be greatly missed.

I will always have fond memories of "Aunt" Alleen. She and her family practically raised me when I was a small child. She was my Sunday School teacher, my babysitter and always my friend. I will always treasure the quilt she made and sent to me on my 45th birthday, the quilt made with the Barbie doll fabric that made me feel like a little girl again! I will also always treasure and remember the trip to 6 Flags over Texas when I really was a little girl! Thank Heaven for people like the Carters! Alleen, Cecil, Ronald and "Susie" have meant more to my family than they will ever know! Thanks Alleen, for making my clothes when I needed them, for teaching me about Jesus, for making me go to Kindergarten and learning to be responsible, and for teaching me always remember your phone number! Alleen has always been like a second mother to me and my sister Dorothy Wolfe. We loved her very much and will miss her. We had a lot of good times at her home with her family and my kids loved her and they enjoyed many clothes and toy's she maded for them. But she's at a better place than we are. Love Alice.
