Obituary of Gwendolyn Bloomquist

Gwendolyn "Gwen" G. Bloomquist was born June 26, 1922 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Myron and Caroline (Case) Harriman and passed from this life April 18, 2009 at the age of 86. Although Gwen received a collegiate degree in education she enjoyed creating a home for her family most. She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Bloomquist and her daughter Vickie Carlisle. Gwen is survived by her daughter Jane and her husband Joe Frazier; her daughter Judie and her husband Ken LaPlant; her brothers, Myron and Bobby Harriman; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Gwen will lie in state Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ninde Woodland Funeral Home Chapel and a graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery.
