March 28, 2008 I just learned two days ago of Jerry's passing and I am deeply saddened. Jerry was my very good friend and classmate at Yukon High (class of 69). After we moved to Tulsa 24 years ago, my wife and I were standing in a long line outside Joseph's Steak House in Tulsa New Years Eve in extreme cold when I heard a voice from about 20 feet away yelling "Gardner"! It was Jerry, and I was so thrilled to see him. He had to be the most popular guy in our senior class. I don't know a single person who didn't think the world of Jerry. He was just a GREAT GUY. Jerry was nice to EVERYBODY. I only saw Jerry maybe 3 times since at class reunions. I knew he had been sick for many years, and I regret not seeing him more. I'll never forget you, Jer. Your life enriched mine and many others. I remember Betsy singing folk songs at the school talent shows also. My heartfelt sympathies go out to Betsy, Garth, and your entire family. Mac Gardner, Tulsa
