Obituary of Karoline "Oma" Boggs

Karolina “Oma” Boggs, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on May 13, 1933 in Dansenberg, Germany to August and Pauline (Herrman) Schwab. Lovingly known as “Oma” to all. Her green thumb remains unmatched. She was rich in her German culture with her traditions “Kaffee Klatch and culinary dishes”. We will always remember her “one more spoonful”. She will be dearly missed by those whose lives she touched. She is survived by daughter Paula Boggs, son, Pete Boggs and his wife Jina and son Rolf Euler, four grandchildren and their spouses, Amanda and Roger Fetterhoff, Miranda and Marcus Gaskamp, Jennifer and Scott McQuade and Martin Euler, four great grandchildren, Maddie, Carter, Katy and Gwen. Honorary family member Jay Kantor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deforest Boggs on January 4, 1993. A Celebration of Life for Oma will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the All Souls Unitarian Church.
