I only just heard of Kenny's passing; I lived out of state for a long time and we lost touch. This was taken in 1977 at Cardo's, where we first met. We were very good friends from the mid 70s until he moved to Hawaii and I moved to Colorado in the 80s.He was such a good guy. What a great loss.

Domino & Sarah,
Chae and I were saddened to hear of the loss of our friend Kenny. Please accept our sincerest condolences and know that his friends are praying for him.
We pray this scripture provides you with some measure of comfort….
I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. (St John 11: 25,26)
Sincerely, Joel & Chae Young

I met Ken in February of 1986 on the Big Island of Hawaii. He was the business partner of Jim Goins, who later became my husband and as such, our relationship continued. My heart is heavy with the loss of a friend. My prayers are that our God would allow him to rest in the arms of the angels.....

So glad I attended the Memorial at the Elks Lodge. So many of Kenny's friends from all activities he participated in were there expressing their sorrow at his passing. We'll really miss that smiling face and congeniality. I'm certain God has a special job for him to work on as he was always busy working on something dear to his heart. See U on the other side. Mollie

I am very sorry to hear the news of Ken's passing. I had the great pleasure of being able to work with Ken for the past two years. He was truly an artist and his concern for helping others really showed in his work. I hope that the friends, family, and coworkers of Ken find comfort in all of the happy memories.

I first became acquainted with Kenny when I moved to Tulsa as a suddenly single fifty something in 1998. We quickly became good friends and I’ve treasured our friendship over these past years even though months may go by without our paths crossing. He introduced me to my husband, Bob, something for which I will be eternally grateful. Oddly enough, they had both lived in Kona, Hawaii, at the same time and had a mutual friend in Kenny’s business partner, Jim Goins. They never met, however, until after all three had made their independent moves to Tulsa. Bob and I had the good fortune to take two marvelous trips to Europe with Kenny and Sarah. He proved to be a great traveling buddy. The last time we saw him, this past summer, he and Bob started plotting about a second trip to Ireland. How I wish we had just thrown good sense to the wind and booked our flights. Now it’s too late.

Domino, Kenny is an old friend from way back. When Dean Martin and I were young and first married, 1983, we lived in your dad's house on Troost. He lived in the back house. The friendship that was formed then has been long, enduring and loving. I'm so so sorry about your loss. Kenny was so special, so full of life and loved life and the world is a sadder place without him. He loved you more than anything in his world and what a proud father he was. The obit you wrote was beautiful and so fitting. My deepest sympathy to you. Carolyn Stueve-Martin Beaumont

I met Kenny after moving to Tulsa in the early 80's. We became great friends over the next 30 years--indeed he was like a brother. We celebrated good times and helped each other through some tough times--he was always there. Well, now he's gone--I'm still not quite grasping that.
I am so glad to have been a part of his life, and he of mine. I will miss him dearly as I know will countless others.

I am so saddened by the sudden loss of one of Tulsa's finest ceramists. Ken and his entire staff have always treated my patients with the "golden rule" in mind. His work made my restorations beautiful and my patients happy. Ken had a great zest for life and his artistry was evident in the care he took to make each case the best that he could deliver. When I would sometimes mention an upcoming trip, he would frequently have a tip about something fun or cool to undertake at our destination. My condolences to all his family and friends, he slipped away before any of us were ready. Rest in peace my friend

To Kenny's family and co-workers, I worked with Ken for several years and really enjoyed our relationship. He was a fine dental technician, always on top of things and highly skilled. Friendly fellow, always smiling and glad to see you. Just saw him at the river a few weeks ago and he looked great. Way to early for him to leave. I will miss him. My condolences. David Marks

I met Kenny through Domino, his son. Kenny became a great running then biking friend. We did several MS150's, HHH rides, Rabrai and traveled to NY together several times and went to a NY Yankee's game together. He was more than a good friend, he was family by choice. He will live on in the hearts of his many, many friends. I love you man! "Fire Truck!"

I'm sad to hear that Kenney is gone. We grew up as cousins, although we were not blood related. I have many fond memories of the Ireland family. You will be in our prayers.
