Obituary of Kenny Ireland

Ken Ireland, born November 15, 1952, left us on October 25, 2104. Proceeded in death by his mother Catherine and his father John Finney Ireland. He is survived by his son, Domino Ireland. Ken, known as Kenny to many people, worked as a dental lab technician, owning and operating Precise Dental Works in Tulsa after a similar position with West Hawaii Dental on Hawaii's Big Island for many years. His passions included travel and a variety of outdoor activities - preferably in warm weather, he hated the cold! Bike riding was his favorite pursuit in recent years. He enjoyed listening to music, reading, running and being out on the water. Ken was loved by all. He loved being involved with and was an integral member of many different social groups and organizations throughout Tulsa. He had a special, genuine quality about him that made others feel great giving him this charming ability to make friends anywhere and everywhere he went. He will be sorely missed by legions of friends all over the world. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Street School of the Tulsa area. He felt very strongly about this organization. A celebration of his life will be held at the Elks Lodge located at 5335 S Harvard Ave., Thursday, October 30, 2014, from 6pm to 10pm. Please dress Kenny Casual. In the spring of 2015, a memorial plus a remembrance bike ride and a run will be held in Tulsa.
