I loved Jane very much. She was a wonderful Lady. Always admired how much she and Dr. Flynn loved each other. Such a wonderful couple. She will be greatly missed.
To the family of Jane Flynn
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ for some may say. My friend, Jane, is first-class. I enjoyed every minute spent with her during many Assistance in Health Care Board meetings and fund-raising events. I loved watching movies with her at home and in the theater as, well as attending her birthday celebrations and other wonderful, entertaining events she and Dr. Flynn hosted together. Some words that come to mind when thinking about Jane include beautiful, fun-loving, generous, joyful, kind, loving, nurturing, personality-plus and smart. What a lady! I am blessed by you!
I remember Janie, we were roommates with Mary Jo Higgins, at Holy Name, living in St.Josephs residence. Miss Barnes was in charge. Learning together how to be a nurse, was always an adventure & challenge. Jane wore "knee cosies ", as she called them to help with sore knees. We all had to be close ,in order to do all that was asked of us. May God bless her & her family. Remembering Jane with Love Phyllis
