David McCray was born on April 20, 1937 in Memphis, TN to William and Daisy (Lewis) McCray. David passed from this life on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the age of 82.
David retired from Ford Glass Company and was a landscaper for most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Etta D. (Hoskins) McCray of the home; daughters, Elaine Turner of Clinton, MD and Melody Smith of Cordova, TN; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 5-7PM Friday, May 17th at the Greater Union Baptist Church and funeral service will be held Noon, Saturday, May 18th at the Greater Union Baptist Church, 955 E. 36th Street North. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park South Woods Cemetery in Memphis, TN.
