Dr. LeMaster was my doctor from Day 1 at Suburban Acres throughout my childhood and on through the years finishing out at his office on Peoria. If ever there was a template for what a doctor should be and was, it was Dr. LeMaster. He could do everything - set bones, deliver babies, comfort a broken heart - whatever the ailment, seen and unseen. And he was always up on the latest medical research and developments, passing on his knowledge to his patients - we knew we could count on the team of Dr. LeMaster and Doris! How lucky we were! Dr. LeMaster took as long as it took - it was his patience, empathy, compassion and listening skills I am most grateful for. I wish the family could look at all of the remembrances of his former patients on the Facebook group, "North Tulsa 50's 60's & 70's - The Real Outsiders." So many touching, poignant and grateful personal testimonies of such a remarkable man. Dr. LeMaster truly was a Man among Men.
Many years after Dr. LeMaster retired, I was taking a walk in the neighborhood near Woodward Park and happened to walk by his home. Luckily Dr. LeMaster was in the yard and we spoke. In my early 20s, Dr. LeMaster had diagnosed a devastating illness and found a clinical study for me to participate in. That clinical study drug was later approved by the FDA. When I thanked him for that and for all he had done for me - he choked up and tears came to his eyes because he knew - all those decades earlier - what that devastating illness would mean for me long-term. Do you see why his patients revere him? His compassion and his empathy for me - just one of hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of patients - still choked him up to that day, so many decades later. Oh yes - I will revere the name and legacy of Dr. LeMaster, and his match-made-in-heaven wife, Doris, to the end of my days. Godspeed, Dr. LeMaster, you will never be forgotten.

I am a retired Pharmaceutical Representative. I am sorry for your loss. I called on Dr LeMaster for a number of years. He was always kind, courteous and respectful to me. Even when he was very busy he always had a gentle demeanor. What a wonderful person and now an Angel

Precious Doris and Family,
Molly and I have discussed so many times our memories of you and Dr. LeMaster taking such wonderful care of our families (Dorsel's and Turpen's) for so many years.
Our sincere sympathy in the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather.
The melody of Dr. LeMaster's life has been silenced here on earth yet restored ten fold in heaven at the feet of Jesus.
The love you shared is deep in your heart where love never dies. Doris you were always faithfully by his side.
I pray as the wind of God kisses your cheek you will feel his spirit in all the things you loved doing together, in each tiny show flake of winter and all the newness and beauty of spring.
I pray God will caress you in His loving arms and give you peace and many beautiful memories as we do ourselves.
Lovingly, Leah Dorsel Horner and Molly Dorsel Oldefest

Dr. LeMaster was my mother's physician for many years. He was the most loving and caring doctor to my mother. He was very willing to work with me and my sister during her declining years. I have thought of him many times since my mother's death. I will always be grateful for the care he gave her and the kindness he showed our family. Sincerely, Linda Gray (daughter of Hazel Adams)

Dr LeMaster was our family doctor. After we kids grew up and moved away my mother continued seeing Dr LeMaster for the rest of her life. Dr Lemaster supported his patients so much. When he told my mother she had developed Emphysema and that she had to stop smoking. My mom said ok (yeah right). When she got up to leave he told her if she didn’t stop smoking to find another doctor because he wouldn’t be able to help her. My mother then threw away her cigarettes and never smoked again. She was mad while telling us the story. We were so grateful. A couple of decades later my mother developed Alzheimer’s. Dr LeMaster supported our family through the last three really rough years. We have always been grateful.
