Alfred Donald "Fred" Campbell was born on June 18, 1938 in Daytona Beach, FL to Alex and Betty (Brooks) Campbell. Fred passed from this life on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the age of 74.
On the radio he was the voice of the Tulsa Oilers and ORU Basketball during the Ken Trickey era. He was a sales associate for Keller-Williams Realty Company. He was a Past President of the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club and served on the Board of Emergency Infant Services.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Jane, of the home; 2 daughters, Shawna Hopper, of Hurst, TX and Keri Drake, of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 son, Brook Penquite, of Ben Lomond, CA, 2 step-sons, Michael Brantley, of North Richland Hills, TX and Jeromey Gill, of Glenrock, NJ; 2 sisters, Bette Vanderhoff and June Brown, both of Wichita, KS; 2 brothers, Richard Campbell, of Mabank, TX and Robert Campbell, of Datona Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah, Jackson, Presley, Alex, Cooper and Graysen and 1 great grandchild, Gabe.
Fred was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
