Nick was a cousin to one of my cousins and my family enjoyed stopping to visit the Broline family in south San Antonio back about 1960 or so. Nick was a ham radio operator, and I was, too, so I was fascinated by all the radio stuff (military surplus) that Nick had collected as a teenager. His grasp of how electronic equipment worked was amazing.
I was 4 years younger than Nick, and I also studied electrical engineering in college, and that became my life's work. I'm sorry our lives never connected again once we were grown but we did exchange a few emails when that became an easy way to communicate. I would like to extend my condolences to Josie, and Nick's extended family.
